Good price. Bought.
Bought 5,will see if I can click and collect
natural flavours, vegetable gum (415), emulsifier (322), sweetener (steviol glycosides) - no thanks…
I agree. Macros on this is terrible. They are ok to use with water on cereal or baking simple items though
73% protein by weight, made in Australia for ~$13 per kg, please link a better deal?
Vegetable gum 415, emulsifif 322.. these are cheap fillers, but I agree with you out is cheap just not the best protein available, but still at the price it's a great deal.
steviol glycosides is stevia, would you rather aspartame or maybe sucralose?
natural flavours???
Those are all are sweeteners not flavours.
Just went in store (Mentone) and picked up 3, no issues. Even got a free shaker!
It cracks me up how many of you are criticising this product because of its additives. If this was a deal for Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey most ozbargainers would be going nuts right now. ON Nutrition Gold is far far worse than this as far as additives go. Stevia is definately one of the better sweeteners (compared to Sucralose and Acesulfame-k which ON uses). And if you're concerned about emulsifier 322, you'd better check the ingredients on everything else you eat because soy lecithin is found in practically all processed foods and you would be hard pressed finding a protein powder that doesn't use it.
why do people even rate ON still, it's not 2001 people.
Just picked one up, its short-dated therefore the big discount. Exp 05/20.
Oh make it stop…..pleeeeeeeease
Thanks OP, picked up the last two at my closest store.
The gyms are closed but workouts go on!
Picked up one today, with a free shaker.
Surprised my local still have stock.
LOL at people complaining at the macro and additive profile. 157cal for 29g of protein is an amazing ratio, especially at $10 a tub. Only slightly lower than Bulk Nutrients WPC, which is what I consider the gold standard (despite ON's claims to the contrary). I would venture to say the expiry is not hard and fast for consumption - would last an extra couple months no problem.
Thanks
