    Where does it say anything about carbs? I'm pretty sure they're saying that it's low sugar compared to other snacks.

  Not to dissuade anyone from supporting this family business, but if you've lots of time on your hands it's a great chance to learn to make your own biltong. Slabs of lean beef about 2cm thick, marinate in salt, soy, Worcester, pepper, vinegar, whatever else you want, hang it in some sort of container that has ventilation, preferably from a fan, cut her up in a couple of days.

  I went through a phase of making it and selling it at work, great fun. Might actually do another batch now that I think about it.
