Yep, everyone's freezers are now full.
Just got back from coles in Bundoora - no cheap mince there.
Likely just a store with excess stock.

Yep, I was in Coles Fletcher, NSW on Wednesday afternoon. They had a similar deal where the mince was $2 for 500g or $4 for 1kg and no buying limits - the butcher was putting it out and said they had 1100 packets out the back with a short use by date
Sound like the real panic buyers are Coles.

I talked with my mum earlier today and she told me she also got 500g packs of the lean mince for $4~ at Coles in Modbury SA area. Sorry, not sure on exact store.
In Maroubra they were marked down to just $1.
Crazy price for an ok mince, good to use in spag bowl, nachos, kmart pie filling etc..
Castle Plaza is such an awful place. It's going to take more than cheap ground meat to get me in there.

Coles at Helensvale on the Gold Coast had heaps of packs at 6:15pm tonight with best before 4/4 and were still at normal price. I would have bought some at a discount but looks like they’ll be throwing it all out. What a waste!
Must be a PITA being a supermarket. First there's huge demand and complaints you aren't supplying enough, then 1 week later you've increased supply and nobody is buying it any more
