Hey unrelated question on discogs - I was looking at buying a Tame Impala Lonerism vinyl but the description said 1 disk. I looked on discogs and couldn't see any listings of that record where it isn't 2 LPs. Does this generally confirm all the available releases for a specific title?

Yes, exhaustively in my experience.
Sometimes retailers like Amazon show misleading information like how many discs are included. An example is when a 2LP album also includes a CD, sometimes they are marked as '3LP'.
Discogs will show all versions of the record available around the world (if it is just a very new release then some versions will not have been submitted yet).

I just go with MoFi, I don't think anyone will really regret it. Sure, $1 each does seem like a lot but I only want the best protection for my records, and in that regard $1 doesn't seem that bad anymore.

Vmp is a subscription service, it will be in the shop to purchase in a few weeks if it does not sell out but it's pretty expensive for non members probably about $40usd
Or you can sub for one month for $40 and add a cpl of other albums for $23 ea (Buena vista is another album this month)

They ran a promotion where you get a free month with a 3 month subscription so I joined up.
They then proceeded to release some excellent albums so I have extended another 3 months.
It's expensive but they are quite collectable and you can sell any you don't want quite easily for $60-$80
The pressings themselves are very good, high quality and quiet.
You basically receive 1 album a month and if you don't like what they put out on a particular month you can swap it for any available back catalogue or store credit.
You can add another two per month for $23usd ea and also purchase from the shop at any time
If you have some spare cash give it a go, I am enjoying it but probably won't sub after this 3 months but that's what I said last time haha.

On average most of the albums I bought from UK were $23-$29 but around $40-$50 here so this is huge. Personally I stocked up on some metal that commands stupid prices here

When you have Prime you get free delivery for International Prime orders when the total is at least $49. Until recently that meant only US items. But now there's some UK stuff available, too. And you can mix them up - for eg. one UK vinyl, one US vinyl - to make up the minimum $49 to have it posted it free.
Although it varies, most vinyl I check was cheaper on Amazon UK, plus there's a few titles that were previously unavailable. Hopefully soon they'll let us buy German/Spanish/Italian/French Amazon items too - being blocked from ordering that stuff was the worst thing about Amazon opening up shop in Oz.
Re: Pre-Orders - I don't know, I don't see any UK/US stuff available for pre-order.
Thank you for the detailed response. I have seen a few listings on OzBargain about items from Amazon UK, but didn't realise that this meant we could start to purchase certain items on Amazon AU. This is good news and like you said, hopefully this means more items from other Amazon locations will become available.
