This. These are from 2015, and are a revision of a revision, and reading around they were never well received at their original price point.
These days, this a mediocre price for a mediocre pair of on-ears.
On ear is not comfortable
i would suggest throwing in a bit more to get m50x

I have the M50X and worst buy ever
I've never tried the m50x but I've noticed that if anybody dares speak ill of them, they incur downvotes.
I find the M50X shouty , in your face and not at all accurate , my Coolermaster MH752 are better closed backs.
In saying that i prefer open backs
apparently, recommending m50x also incur downvote, not that the vote matters at all lol.
Let's say M50X is my personal favor. having one, and like it myself. no hurt trying before buying, they are everywhere.
yeah, on ear vs over ear ……extended listening is easier with over ear I find.
m40x trumps all over-ear headphones at its price points, and easily beats the m50x
I've used the previous gen of these - sounds good but they were tight and uncomfortable for me. The y-cable is also annoying, would be much better if it was only one side.
