    "epson nx125 color malfunctions"
Now I know why they are so cheap, but seriously cheap hardware, buy all of them for the cartridges.

  • i think thats a great price lets rockon………….

  • Harvey Norman Alexandria… is that the one near Sydney airport? That store seems to have lots of bargains on a regular basis.

    • Yeah the one near the airport is on gardeners rd they were quiet this morning but you betta hurry if you want one….

  • Wow $16 for a colour printer? Can you still get black and white printers these days?

    • HVN was selling a black and white laser for $38 a month or so back.
Low end printers are quite cheap nowadays… but replacement catridges and toners will cost you more than the printer(s).

      • Not sure about inkjet cartridges, but the toners that come with low end printers aren't very high capacity (the replacement ones are a lot better). I've got a Samsung ML-2010 and the cartridge it came with was rated for 1000 pages, whereas the replacements are rated for 4000 pages. I buy "compatible" (non-Samsung) toner cartridges for it which seem to work pretty well.

          I have a Samsung 2010 also.
i just buy "toner in a bottle", from dealextreme about $7 delivered. Works sensational again.

          http://www.dealextreme.com/p/lepu-refill-black-toner-for-sam…

Easy refilling, pop off side plug, pour in toner, replace plug, install in printer, print. prety much that easy.

Sorry, can't help it - Epson nx125 color malfunctions <—- no wonder it's $16 hehehe

    • haha little giggle early on was still half asleep all fixed now

  • good luck op.probaly one off offer from that store.hn website $79 but $55 in store.ow price is $44

  • At $14, I'd buy the printer, keep the cartridge and throw the printer out. Useful for people with printers that share the same toner models :-)

  • Hey guys for all you people who have bought an epson and or a brand with individual tanks for the black and colour, you can basically get a large tank (I think its called a continuous ink system) of ink that you hook up to your printer and it works out to be the most economical method of printing. Not sure how reliable or difficult to set up this is but its definitely the cheapest, even cheaper than a laser :)

Or for the models that don't seem to have CISS available, refillable ink tanks with a self-resetting chip.

  • Okaaaaaaaay…

Why has nobody asked if it's only this HN or all HN's with stock?

    • they said it was only this store as they were just clearing them out a one day special

  • got one, thanks OP.

  • It would have been worthwhile getting them all for the ink refills, small as they are. We don't use our printer al that much but had to fork out for all new ink tanks at one stage. $120 later, did a couple of very small print- outs, then 2 or 3 months later when we went to use it again, they'd all evaporated again.

The $16 cost here is less than having to buy just a single epson refill.
