Not a moral company acording to 2017 Ethical Fashion Report

They have minimal worker empowerment initiatives (D +) and received the bottom score (F) in relation to implementing a living wage or improving wages across their supply chain.

While they are an FLA Workplace Code of Conduct certified company, the fine print says members “shall pay at least minimum wage or the appropriate prevailing wage” to their workers. But minimum wage does not equal a living wage, especially in high-risk countries where fast fashion brands outsource their production.

mid last year I bought 2 pairs of chuck Taylors, low and high for $30 each. one from Kogan one from Asos I believe.

paying 50+ for some cons is overpriced

Got a pair of allstars for $50 around a year ago, friggin sole fell out of it after wearing daily to work (where I'm sitting down). Dismal quality.

Got 7 year old Vans that have taken an absolute beating at various outings, aside from being my old "daily" shoe, and have only just started to properly degrade.
