@luckylittle: i think my Amazon account for Kindle is tied to US where I originally opened my Amazon account many years ago. AU links for ebooks are usually not free for me.
how did you get the first ebook for free?
I can only see the second ebook free on Amazon AU, so thanks for that one.

I got it from the US store for free.
Link defaults to audiobook and not the eBook. Audiobook is NOT free…
