MLB.TV has opened their archive of 2018 and 2019 games (including postseason) to everyone for free.
You only need to create a free MLB account, log in and you will be able to stream any game for free.
Hope this helps anyone who is struggling with the lack of sport at the moment.

Can you get classic/archive games from decade/s ago? Or even selec classic games?
I believe you would need an MLB.tv subcription for anything other than '17 & '18.
I just got rid of mine considering the delayed start of the season. I know I could go back to 2014 (never tried earlier), but classic/decades ago really seemed to have highlights and clips.

I remember when, the dude who was on the sox roster specifically for stealing bases, stole 2nd and then Ortiz? hit it up the middle to bring him home, Joe buck said "we'll see you in new York" something like that, I somehow knew, they were about to do the impossible.
Still can't get over arod knocking the ball out of the first basemen's hand and claiming innocence.add that to the time he yelled mine on a pop-fly when running to 3rd , he really was history's greatest monster.

Just cancelled my MTB.TV subscription last month after they had automatically renewed for the second year in a row. There is a 'Cancel' subscription button in your account however it appears to be ignored and there is no email confirmation of the subscription cancellation. So, if you take up the free subscription to watch the free archived games, for this purpose only and not continue on with the subscription at the end of the 'Trial Period'. Read the TOC's carefully when deciding to cancel. I would recommend that you back up your subscription cancellation with direct email to: [email protected] from your subscribed email address and request confirmation. The site appears to be managed by web-bots these days.
That said, I have been missing my MLB and have been watching the 'best of' games on the MLB Channel on YouTube.
