But isn't Fitbit known for having one of the most accurate fitness stats tracking (like heart rate, sleep, etc.). I bought this for $200 last year and it seems worth it even though I do also have some problems actually using the app on the watch
Yeah which is why I said if you're after a fitness tracker then it's still good. But as a smartwatch it's nothing flash.
At this price it's more competitive, Harvey Norman had it at $350 on the weekend when I last looked. But if you're after accurate stuff I believe garmin is even better for heart rate, but at what price that's a consideration.
I have used the watch on and off, tried swimming by tracking laps, and the hourly movement reminders are good too but yeah pretty unimpressed as a smartwatch which is what they're pushing it as.
I've had this for about 2 yrs. Fine as an activity monitor, good for touch pay but I struggle with the bluetooth with my phone / fitbit app.
DO NOT BUY FOR MUSIC, if you are like me and was hoping to leave your phone home and go for a run with just the watch and a pair of bluetooth headphones then think again. It's Trash, and FitBit put the same crappy Bluetooth module into the original Versa (then removed it all together with the Versa Lite). I showed the complete failure in my YT vid this week and covered how FitBit has ignored it in forums for the past couple years.
If you're after a fitness tracker only with call notifications, touch pay, and laggy apps then sure, go-ahead. But I'd prefer a xiaomi band 4 at that point given it does the majority for less.
