Easy Credit Card to Get Approved for $10,000?

I know there is lots of different credit cards because I've looked on google and it is so overwhelming I don't know where to start.

I have a very high credit score, my take home is north of $3K/weekly after tax, and I don't have any outstanding debts.

I want a $10K limit credit card and I'm wondering what credit card is the easiest to get approved for this amount?

Any suggestion please?

    I want a $10K limit credit card

3k per annum is not going to cut it

Sorry, very vague of me. $3K weekly before tax. I edited my OP.

      • Still says $3k weekly after tax…

What job pays that much for no patience and no basic data gathering skills?

    Count me in.

That sounds overwhelming. Where do you start? Seriously though, this seems like a troll post.

        Are you Forrest Gump?

        • That was a shrimp boat!

And no basic maths skills either…

  • Your age may also be a factor OP.

    • No it won't. I'm middle aged.

      • Out curiousity, what do you consider middle-aged? 50s?

        • 40s

At approx $250,000PA before tax, any credit card will approve 10,000

    • Well shit, I don't earn near that amount. (profanity). I earn $140KPA roughly. Double (profanity)

I didn't know there are 52 weeks in a year. There are 4 weeks in a month, and 12 months in a year, equals = 48 weeks.

          • +1

@Ollyboy: That's still no where near 3k a week AFTER tax

3k a week, post tax is more like 245k before tax (and just regular person deductions and tax rates)

With basic financial comprehension like this, not sure a credit card is a wise choice….

          • +2

@Ollyboy: You are 40 and don't know that there are more than 4 weeks in the average month? And that there are 52 weeks in a year?

          • @Ollyboy:

I didn't know there are 52 weeks in a year. There are 4 weeks in a month, and

There are ~4.34 weeks per month (365 days divided by 12 months divided by 7 days(a week) = 4.3452380952380952380… )

There are 52 weeks in a year. Accounting 101 from High School.

Okay that will also do lol. I can promise you if you can prove income, any bank will offer that.

Though 12k a month before tax, calculated backwards, is above 200k

140,000PA before tax works out to only 1890 per week after tax

    Literally any of them.

Easiest and fastest would be your main bank that you bank with.
I easily was given $20k with wayyy less income and as a casual.

    • What bank you with if I may ask? And I assume you are talking about a credit card limit, not a bank loan?

Which bank is the correct expression

"Which bank" is the correct expression.

          I fixed that for you.

        • Which bank?

  • Easiest Way?

    Same way as everyone else.

You earn well above average salary. $3k weekly after tax is equivalent to a salary of $250k a year. I’m not sure what the point of this post is? With no other debts everyone will approve you.

Oh wait, a new account asking a stupid question. Sorry I should have smelt the troll from miles away.

  • Go to ur bank. They will give you a Cc min 15K. End game. Next.

It takes 5 minutes to apply online with your bank, you could have done this by now and got back to catching shrimp, Forrest.

    • I don't catch shrimp. I chase seasonal fish.

      • +1

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea.

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it.

Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo.

        Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried.

There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.

        That- that's about it.

          Thanks bubba

  • I dont even know why this question is being asked, at 140k pa you can get 10k credit card from every financial institution unless your debt vs your assets is close to bankruptcy.

  • Life is like a box of chocolates…

  • This thread is getting depressing… I remember how depressing Forrest Gump was when Jenny died. Sorry for the spoilers in hindsight!

Speaking from limited experience, the bank you usually deal with are most likely to offer you the highest limit because there's a pre-established limit. If you're going with a new bank, they're going to be skeptical and you might have to gradually increase the limit.

As for the best CC option, you should wait for the specials. There are killer incentives to join when promotions are on. Like enough points for business class flights to Japan. (Oops… too early?)

Speak to your banker and they'll be able to guide you. They want you to have a high limit… as long as you can service it of course!

Remember applying for a credit card is like buying a pair of thongs in Bali, they’ll low ball your limit for ages, hold your ground and pretend to walk out of the branch a few times

Go first thing to get the morning deal

    I believe in you champ!

Hopefully the advice is better on other forums
