I don't see how this is a deal….75000 points is a lot of money isn't it?

    • +3

Not even listed as a Hot Offer. Not a deal…

I take it we just list every item that gets added now?

    If it's a discount from their regular amount. It's a deal. It's not. It's not a deal.

i guess its a deal if you got the 50,000 points from signing up for direct debit otherwise its not

    • That would mean everything in Telstra catalogue becomes a deal then.

Still wouldnt be anywhere near it

  • It's not a discount on a RRP or a hot offer with reduced points spend.
    Not a deal unfortunately

  • It's a deal in the sense that if you have the bonus points or have points from a service you were paying for regardless, they become free. I used my points to get these for free and I don't regret it at all.

I get advertised to join Telstra Plus for my business at least once a week.

1> I try to sign up
2> Get all the way to the end
    3> Error
    4> Get on to chat.
5> No problems we will fix it try again in 48 hours.
    6> Rinse, repeat.

Last effort the Telstra helpdesk spent basically 30 minutes saying it was my browser, cache, device (tried multiple browsers and devices), then SHE tried on my behalf and the chat went silent for 5 minutes before I got a message back saying it doesn't work on their system either.

Not to mention the time I tried to claim the free Google Hub with my Pixel 4 XL purchase that was advertised in bold letters in their store.

Man if they did not have the best mobile network (although that's been on the blink since 11th as well) they certainly NEED some sort of loyalty/rewards program to keep any kind of interest. Their reputation is going backwards so fast….
