        Reviews on the watches. I've also tried looking for model numbers but I end up with reviews on other similar sounding models

          Depending on the region, the last few digits/numbers can vary and throw off your search results. Try a Google search excluding everything after the -

      Depends on your definition of good. You can pretty much buy anything from Seiko and Citizen and it'll be good value for money. They'll all be well made for the price and be a solid timekeeper.

      If you are after something in particular, a movement or whatever, then yeah jump on Google. I mean doing research on anything you buy is a good idea.
