Greetings everyone, haven't got a clue why this works but if you add 2 cartons of Wild Yak to cart on First Choice the price drops to $30 :)

Adding more than 2 seems to make all cases $15 each.

Direct link seems to be adding an error now, try and add to cart from the new link.

    I just went to Glendale. No stock to fulfill. I was going to pick up some other beers. Their loss.

    Didn't have high hopes but picked up at FC wollongong. Manager there referred to an email from head office, double checked it was ok to honour. Only giving them out if you got the 'ready to collect' sms, according to her email.

    I went to pick up at about 9:45 and was told the order was cancelled (Redcliffe qld). It's now almost 12 and still no cancellation email. Not going to buy from these asshats again, fair enough cancel the order but how about letting me know?

      Maybe they can offer you a job there to deal with the 10,000 cancellation emails/sms's

        It would take all of 20 seconds to send an email to those orders saying they can't be filled. You must not be able to IT very well.

  • Contacted store to ask if I could come in to collect as no SMS received. Store said all of these orders are on hold so they are not sending them out .Contacted customer service - Order cancelled and refunded.

    • Yep I rang my local store. Didn’t even give order details she just said head office will be contacting all people that did click and collect. When pressed further as to if that means the orders aren’t being honoured she just said “I was told if anyone calls about a click and collect order they will be contacted”.

  • Went to collect at Waterford QLD, got denied and told I would have to wait until the Click and Collect staff contact me and organise a refund. Was the third person they'd turned away out of six who placed orders.

    well, I think I placed my orders quite early on when this deal was posted,

    ordered at 2 differnet stores

    went to both this afternoon,
    got told they've all sold out and its classifed as code RCN or something like that
    so out of my 4 orders, I got zero!

    oh well, at least I have my double jim beams from the other deal!

        Was your email appearing it was sent to Samuel Jane rather than your own email address?

        Curious if that is the staff member from Probe that emailed on behalf of First Choice or if s/he is just an impacted customer.

    Just received an email refunding my order due to a technical glitch on their website… I guess this is it then…

    I just rocked up. Was told pricing error and I had to call head office. I told the guy as per the ACL when you take my money you now have a contract to supply at that price. They just gave me the 2 cartons. This was at Springfield.

        Thats why you dont see people buying $1m homes for $100k or even $1k because the agent/seller mistyped the price

      • I did some research and there might be some truth here with this precedent (if you received a "it's ready to collect message").

        However, as aforementioned, you would need to be inconvenienced (which would be the case if you received a 'its ready to collect email etc and went down to get it) and from my interpretation, you would not be under the assumption that it's a pricing error.

        At the end of the day, if they have looked after you in the past, then give them the same courtesy.

      Please don't spout laws that you clearly don't actually understand. They gave you the beer as you're a customer that's clearly in the 'too hard' basket…not because you lawyer'd them

      same boat, they took my money and said they "have" refunded on the weekend (read that email closely) but PayPal (how i paid) has as of yet no indication of any such refund, sigh. I might avoid these price error purchases in future…

  • My order is still open, i get the feeling they are going to let all orders wait out for the 5 days collection thing. I think that automatically refunds your money if you don't collect it. Means the money in their account earning interest for some days? … who's the suckers now lol

        Same same but different. The original email sent said the standard delivery to Syd is by 13 Mar. I’ll wait until then and see how it goes.

    The the order was cancelled and I only received a $30 refund….. Had to call and apparently the 2nd overcharged refund will be in my account soon.

        There were probably over 10k orders to cancel, according to the number of clicks.

        It was pointed out early in the deal this may be refused as was an obvious error on their site. It was meant to be 2 6packs for $30!

        We played the game, didn't win (some did) & got our money back.

        Time to revoke the upvotes.

              Op said that because second refund didnt come, he sent a complaint saying they should now honor it

              so im on the iron jack from the previous deal

        • Like me now. FC have Kilkenny for $57 a case. I can buy a 6 pack from Aldi for $15. Plus Murphy's and Guinness. A great variety. I'd rather give the germans my business, and I save on fuel given it's 20 mins each way.

    As of today I still have no refund, I sat on hold with FCL for 34 minutes until they answered and have been told the refund will be processed by end of business today. Damn. Never have I waited so long for a refund lol.

    So I called customer service yesterday about the lack of communication and refund.

    They reactivated the order for me and I picked it up today no problem :D :D

    I paid with a credit card and was not signed into an account.

  • Emailed them yesterday, 9 days after their email which said please allow 2-3 days for refund to appear in your account, no reply, still no communication anywhere, a real disgrace.

    • i've still got nothing, no emails, no refund, no communication, this is after emailing them a few days ago and raising a paypal dispute a couple of days ago. Unbelievable.
