Any suggestions, deals or experience you've guys had?

Never got around to it and had a laptop I used at home, looking for a newer lighter one that's more portable
Lenovo L390? It's an entry level business grade laptop, better built than E-series.

i5-8265U 13inch laptop, 8GB / 256GB SSD etc. Fairly lightweight 1.46kg and it has a much longer battery life than the Lenovo E400 and E500 series.
How'd you get it to $985?

Following. I was going to get a refurbished Lenovo T series but Have not been able to find any that arent less than 4 years old.
My suggestion would be to get a second hand business model from eBay. You're going to get quality parts that'll typically outlast any consumer model. I've had good success with 14" HP Elitebooks/Folios and Lenovo X1 Carbons for both personal and business use, and also for friends & family.
If you want around 13.3" then Toshiba Portege, Asus Zenbook, and HP Spectres look decent. I've not researched the Toshiba/Asus properly though. Make sure you get something with an SSD of course.

Suggest going for an i5, with 1080P screen, and NVMe drive. The 3 years Pro support NBD warranty will come in handy if the system breaks down.

What happened to the one you presumably bought last year?
