I'm looking for an Asus DSL-AC68U for a new FTTN connection.
MSY and CPL (and virtually everyone else) are selling them for $239. Has anyone seen a better price? I'm in the outer east of Melbourne if that matters. Thanks!

Described as OEM Open, never used $155 free shipping https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-OEM-Asus-DSL-AC68U-Dual-Band…
I'm a bit worried about that one being "from OEM channel". What does that even mean? Why would the branding be "partially removed"? Is it an overseas model with different firmware?
It is probably one of those ones meant for T-mobile / American telecomms. They just flashed the firmware and call it OEM because they'll send you the router but without the usual fancy ASUS packaging, just a white box and an australian travel / power adapter plug
wow I got one of the T-mobile ones a couple years ago for a bit over $100, mind you not the same CPU ect. Also have to flash the firmware amongst other things even just to update it. Damn good router though
I bought mine second hand off ebay for about $110. They're awesome routers. Highly recommend.
Avoid the ones on Amazon AU. I bought one myself and it had been imported from Asia and the language was locked to Japanese. Amazon really need to start dealing with this shady importers and companies selling electronics with dodgy AU power adapters etc.
Amazon is fine. You just need to be wary of Amazon "Marketplace" items. There's a difference.
I found one on eBay for $175 and offered $140, and the seller agreed. I'll pick it up tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
Kind of concerning how many "defective" units are being sold though?
