Just saw this at KFC North Ryde store on Lane Cove Rd, might not be available at all stores? The employee I asked wasn't sure.

Current streetwise is
6 x Original Recipe
6 x Nuggets
3 x Original Tenders
2 x Aioli
2 x Large Chips$21.95 in Sydney.
Edit. STREETWISE FEAST. Dinner is different.
Yeah that $1.95 price jack :(
Or cheap as chips for $20.95
8 x Original Recipe
6 x Nuggets
4 x Large Sides
Anyone else got this deal?
Not bad considering Cheap as Chips via the App is 8 piece, 6 nuggets and 4 large side so essentially $5 cheaper for 2 large side and 6 nuggets less.
If you want the extra sides, go with the Cheap as Chips
Warners Bay had this last year but took it down when the 9 piece deal came out. Theo should put it on the app. It have been 16.95?
Do you have Theo's number? I'll give him a call and get him to sort it ASAP.
is this deal on the App somewhere?
Yes
@MuddyClear: which tab/section?
Let me talk to Theo and see if we can work it out, he's a pretty good bloke.
I have 4 cousins named Theo, 2 of them work at KFC.
You must be theo's bro
What a credit to you're family. Everyone in the family must be thrilled by their achievement. Maybe they could get you a job there.
@Jackamo: I work for EA, so its fair to say its a downgrade from KFC
@ThePriceMatchGuy: Well played guys. ;) You got me.
@BewareOfThe Dog: Theo still hasn't put this on the app ðŸ˜
I think this has been offered at most shopping centre KFC's (in NSW) for a while now
makes a good lunch meal deal if you have friends who want to chip in
I normally share this with a mate and swap 1 chips with a 1.25ltr drink
To my knowledge, neither Macquarie Centre or Castle Hill KFC do this deal. May not be as widespread as you think.
Happy to be corrected though.I remember seeing this deal at MQ centre few years ago
Macquarie Centre does this. This offer has been available at all NSW Food Court stores for a really long time (A few years???).
Does it still do this? I know it used to but "used to" and "still do" are completely different.
I've tried it before at a few NSW food courts in the last few months and got basically laughed at.@pennypincher98: Well, I have not ordered from MQ centre in a while, but I can confirm that Top Ryde, Chatswood Chase and Westfield Chatswood still have this offer. Therefore, I don't see any reason as to why MQ which I know has had the offer for a long time, suddenly stop offering it.
(Note: It is not on the menu board, nor available via their app. You have to ask for a $15 dinner pack. Also, only available after 4pm.)
@amkssg: Yeah. This deal used to be mainly at shopping malls then it disappeared. Then at the app only, then that too disappeared. Now it's back? Great if it is.
If anyone can't see the picture and since it has not been said by anyone else including OP, it's 9 pieces of chicken and 2 large chips for $15.
Swap it for hot n spicy and we're talking
I think you can swap it for hot n spicy, if it's available. KFC's promos always mention original instead of hot n spicy due to its limited availability I reckon.
I'd probably be 10kg lighter if there was no hot and spicy at my local KFC
They have the wicked wings version as well, had it at Liverpool the other week, was 12 wicked wings and 2 large chips, but for $15.95
Hmmm i do love wicked wings more but its less chicken volume..
KFC in Westfield Mill Park (VIC) food court offer this for a long time. Not all of food court's KFC offering though.
Not sure if I don't care or I love it
Can you generally request breast rather than drumsticks?
No.
Bummer… Dealbreaker for me then.
I ask for all thighs and they usually give me more than they normally would, but won't give me all thighs
@John Kimble: Thigh’s are my fav!
You can ask, many will and some wont. Mileage varies. I like thighs.
I love sucking on breasts. Thighs not so suckable…
I will swap breast for drumsticks tho.
Drumsticks and wings have the least meat though?
yeah but at least drumsticks arent dry as (profanity). I absolutely detest the breast pieces (though wing pieces are even worse)
@Kingfield: That’s interesting! To me, drumsticks are the dry ones
@Rimzi: How can drumsticks be the dry ones? Red meat is alot fattier than white meat.
But we're not in Jan 2018 anymore….
edit:sorry wrong post lol
Cheap as chips 4 lyfe.
Available after 4pm at Merrylands Stocklands KFC. Can switch out chips for potato and gravy or coleslaw too.
You mean this does not include gravy?
Can someone tell me if KFC do crispy chips anymore? I remember many many moons ago I use to get nice crispy chips from them and you could hold it by one end and it would be like holding a pen, these days at all the ones I’ve tried on the Gold Coast the chips are soggy and limp. Sometimes not even cooked correctly
Depends on the KFC and whether you're lucky tbh. KFC chips get soggier a lot faster than french fries. because they have a lot more water content in them (from being fatter and having more potato), and combining it with the closed packaging which stops the steam from escaping properly they'll basically get soggy within a couple mins especially when theyre undercooked
I’ve gotten them fresh and they are soggy all the time. They never use to be like this and they have always been the same type of chip. HJ have the same type too and they are crunchy
Always ask for fresh ones, my partner does and she always gets good one. I can't be ass'd and often get shitty ones. Occasionally she gets shitty ones because they can't be ass'd cooking her fresh ones, so she takes them back :)
I have but they are still crap
I think it’s just every KFC I’ve been to hahahI have occasionally had very delicious, well salted, crispy KFC chips, but it's definitely potluck (granted, for some reason, I have never asked for fresh chips at KFC despite doing so at Macca's and HJ's)
I ask for fresh cooked chicken and they often tell me that they can't. They have to cook everything in sequence and they can't specialise.
Yes, this is true. Prepping and cooking the chicken is a lot more involved than just dumping chips into a frier. Also, you don't want chicken straight out of the frier - waiting several minutes for the oil to drain is more of the sweet spot.

Occasionally she gets shitty ones because they can't be ass'd cooking her fresh ones, so she takes them back :)
Probably comes with free dandruff seasoning afterwards
All KFC's I've worked at have this in their local marketing menu, full name is Bring Back Dinner Pack. May not be available at all KFC's though
Did someone say KFC ….. I don't care I love it!
Thats a good price.
I also saw 10 tenders for $10
10 tenders for $10 is everywhere. IMHO, not that much of a deal.
I assume this is NSW only ? QLD being Collins Foods owned KFC's ?
Just bought one from Caulfield station in Vic - not advertised but available.
Maccas and kfc always offer new things when lent starts. Makes me think quite a few people fast from meat.
Someone get the OP a zinger burger or something. Looking out for the rest of us, asking if it was nationwide. LEGEND
Bought from Garden City KFC in Perth. It's not advertised anywhere but I showed them the photo and got 2!
Sounds like a the old 9 for $10 type of deal except they make you buy the "add 2 sides for $5" too
Damn my local KFC is not offering or something they haven't heard of.
Damn just been told it only KFC @shopping center offer this deal and they close 5.30pm.
How was the chicken at North Ryde? One only been there once, years ago, and when I got home I found the chicken was undercooked or something, they were very pale and flabby looking. Haven't been back since, go to Lindfield instead, but don't know if this deal is available there.
I work in the area and I've never had an issue with their chicken
12,221 kJ/ 2920 kcal, holy ****. In one meal. That's about the amount of energy two small people, or one very giant man, would eat over a day.
I think it's implied that a family would share this - 2 adults and 2 kids. I would smash it all myself and regret it though.
Preferably when I've got the house to myself. I give myself enough judgement afterwards, don't need the Mrs adding to it.
I believe a meal of HSP is about 2k.
For a 9 piece chicken and 2 chips, not that bad don't you think?
Food court only offer
I've tried to buy this at KFC Werribee and they told me they dont sell this anymore ??
I just ordered this for Lunch,(shared with workmates of course) this deal is still running and doesn't have to be for just dinner. Macquarie Store Lane Cover Rd.
You can also do the 9 for $11.95(BYOB) add two large chips for $2 each, for a total of $15.95 (thru the app). Still easier to just ask for this deal.
Except you need at least 3 chicken "items" (it can be pieces, nuggets, wicked wings, etc.) for the BYOB. That's through my app. Unless this varies by location…
Exactly, for a BYOB, it's 4 lots of chicken.
There's no way you can get 9 for $11.95
Just went today to the Yagoona store via drive thru and it was available there.
And it's gone :(
Damn that's pretty cheap, Streetwise dinner was/is 10 pieces and 2 large chips but for $20
