  • "Up to 65K Range"
    You mean 65km.

    • 65000 range!! PogChamp

    • No, up to!! For a lightweight rider travelling on economy mode on flat ground at a constant speed you can expect 65km.
A 80KG+ person on sports mode going up and down hills, starting stopping (as in real world conditions) can expect significantly less range, in my case about 35 to 40km!!

      • point is K isn't km

      • Cut out the donuts lose weight greater distance.

        • Why not just walk then!
I only lime ride to krispykream

    Pickup NSW

Convenient, just don't ride it in NSW. Fines for footpath use ($330) and road use ($660).

    • +1

anyone actually been fined here in NSW? Like how particular are the cops about it?

      • +1

People have been fined, but it's not common.

That said, i would find it stressful traversing Sydney streets knowing I was one grumpy or overly officious cop away from losing $660.

        • or more, they can throw in other stuff like not wearing a helmet and operating an unregisterable vehicle.

          • @[Deactivated]: I know a guy who was fined for things like "riding motorbike on footpath", "driving unregistered vehicle" and "driving motorbike without helmet".
6 demerit points and $1500+ in fines.
Before that he was riding it for about 6 months saying police were ignoring him.
So it sounds like a lottery to me.

I saw some pedestrians getting fined for jaywalking. Most people are getting away.
            Same principle.

  • Is the 25km/h max speed just a software limiter? Can it be modified?

    • +1

yep can be modded with custom firmware. Will get it to approx 31kph

      • +1

        Thanks

    • +1

I have a Segway ES4 and there's 3 different speed modes - sport will get you up over 30km/h. I think the 25km/h is just clever marketing as that's the legal limit (at least in QLD)

Rep any deals on the m365?

    • +3

      or the pro version~

If you have eBay Plus (yes I know fail already) Buy the Ninebot Max from Scooter Hut eBay store $989 with a $30 discount when you go through checkout so now $959. Then in a combined purchase by a slab of Stella Artois Legere 24 x 330mL Bottles $52 or something else. Anyhow the total is now $1,011, now enter code "pick100" get a $100 discount, total $911 for a Ninebot Max and a slab of Stella Artois Legere 24 x 330mL Bottles. I think this works without eBay Plus but you may pay extra for postage. Anyhow it worked for me, I now have a Ninebot Max for about $870 and in my case a slab of Wild Yak beer for $32(it was on discount a few weeks ago). Beers and electric scooter what a wonderful combination!!

    • Beers and electric scooter what a wonderful combination!

Haha, in NSW it can be "riding motorbike on footpath", "driving unregistered vehicle", "driving motorbike without helmet" plus "drink driving". :))))
      Sounds like jackpot!

Patiently waiting for another deal as good as this.

  • Are these legal in Victoria? Vicroads essentially says it's not - not on footpaths, bike lanes.
    Has anybody ever been fined?
