I enjoyed the concert yesterday and thought I'd get the OzB opinion.
I though the audio at the start of the concert was a bit dull but it improved as the show went on.
Queen + Adam Lambert's Live Aid set was great. I can see why he has been fronting the band for so long.
"You're the Voice" with Mitch Tambo singing in Gamilaraay was quite good. I certainly wasn't expecting it to blend so well.
It's interesting there isn't too much media about the concert. I was expecting to see it headlining news outlets but I guess we see what "they" want us to see.
Anyway, what were your thoughts? Who were your top 3? I'd allow multiple voting if I could but we can't have nice things.
Queen smashed it as expected. Easily the best which is not hard when you play the Live Aid set…. :P
I watched on Foxtel in 4K and visually it was stunning, but agree the audio lacked initially and improved later on.
The filler chat on Foxtel between sets was a real drag but there's no other way to do it when swapping the stage over each time.
The biggest downer was Celeste making it all political with her in between set shrieking rants. Seriously keep that crap on twitter and just let people enjoy the concert. Also all the "this is because climate change" from celebs was very irritating.
