Seems like a pretty damn good deal for prepaid. $29 gets you $250 to optus/woolworth mobile phones and $250 to other phones AND 5gb of internet data. All you need to do is head down to dicksmith/BigW/Woolies and get a $2 sim starter than recharge instore/online/on the phone.

    I set-up tether with my laptop and ran a speed test.. got a constant 100kb/sec
    Broadband Speed Test Results

    Your line speed is 703 kbps (0.7 Mbps).
    Your download speed is 88 KB/s (0.09 MB/s).

    Also just ran the test a second time at a different part in my house and got 200kb/sec I live in a set of townhouses and signals never been good to begin with.. but still it's ok speed I've seen it upto around 450kb/sec before tho at other locations closer to towers
