Pulse massage, give you a new experience

    Well. I imagine it would..

    • Speak for yourself. Some of us have been pulsing for years.

  • Pro version? Curious how to be a pro.

    • Paid to poop.

  • Can I install this if my water connection is on the right?

    • Might have to run extra length of hose

    • Definitely long enough

  • Very tempted to get this. Unfortunately can't access the property that I'm going into to check the sizings…
Also, anyone used rainwater for bidet?

    • +1

I wouldn't if you're going to have any females using it

      • As @asa79 said, what about the filter? How good are they?

        • How are you meant to test? And is it worth the risk? I actually had rainwater for mine and did the swap to fresh for this very reason

        • Filter will be fine, but don't go forgetting about replacing it - unlike 99% of us.
          It's a fine cotton filter

    • It supposed to have a filter in it should that should keep any nasties at bay

      • +1

A cotton filter wont stop pathogens, that's why we treat our drinking water.

  • Can you please list at least a few suggested toilet models that are compatible. Keen to put these in our new build but I need to know what toilet to get that’ll work.

    • +1

Caroma Carravalle will fit well. Anything smaller or shorter than that is no go.

    • Check your toilet spec, that is probably the best way.

  • Can someone please recommend a non electric bidet . Do not have any power outlets near toilet .
Anything tested and tried . Thanks a lot

I purchased this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/372388431456 last week (Was out of stock for a while), arriving Monday. Feedback I've read(on Amazon) is good.

      • I didn't realize that there was a non-electric version of a 'bidet'.
I, too, don't have a electricity connection in a separate toilet facility.
So, this would be a much better idea.

      • +1

That cold water must wake you up in a hurry on your morning dump.

Sure, I understand that if there's no power available then your options are limited, but still, yeoowwww.

  • Wonder how this compares the the 399 smart toilet at Bunnings. Just thinking from a warranty point of view, would be a lot easier to deal with Bunnings for that little bit extra…

    • not seen bunnings selling those, do you have a link?

        • I think they throwing the word smart around too much lately. Remote control doesn't make it smart

          • +1

@asa79: These type of all in one toilets are known generally as smart toilets in Japan (where this style of intergrated toilet originated from) regardless of whether they have an app to control it or not. I haven't seen a smart app toilet in Japan yet actually.
Personally I'd rather use a remote which u can stick at a very convenient location on the wall, than handle my phone when on the toilet. How many people are going to use a disinfectant wipe on their screen everytime they use the toilet and app?

            • @Sammyboy: I think the remote will get worse as stuff will get inbetween the buttons, you wont be able to clean it as easy as a glass screen

              • @asa79: Its a flush surface remote. No gaps

  • Make sure your bowl is at least 60 cm from the rear of the exposed bowl to the front. Bought one based on a 50cm bowl and was far too short.

    • did you get a refund?

    • Also curious what you did, my toilet is only 50cm from front to cistern.

      • I had this issue and used some bumper dome pads on the bottom to lift it up and allow it to go further back (it's blocked by the spout and dryer bumps protruding down). It's not ideal, but it works.

  • Never used a bidet before.. how well does it clean your bottom after doing #2 ?

Toilet paper starts disintegrating on contact with water.. so I'd hate to have a mess of wet poo and mushy paper all over the place.

No worries if you do a Ghost Poo but what about those pesky Klingons ?

    • A bidet is life changing. After spraying even with the non-dryer models you're hardly wet. Few folded over sheets and you're good to go.

  • I need this to have water inlet on the right and power on the left

    • +1

You cant run the lines behind the toilet? Mine had a gap so I was lucky

  • +1

This works great, but the seat has a strange tilt downwards which my partner didn't like. It didn't bother me much but eh. Anyway I stuck these underneath the seat to reduce the tilt and it's working perfectly.

If you just wanna blast your bum and don’t need a million smart features, I’ve been considering the Tushy. They sell an extra adapter for Australia. Cheaper and installation looks much simpler. https://hellotushy.com/

  • I bought 2 of the v1 of these.
One failed and hot replaced under warranty. Now their both failing once or of the warranty period.
Although I generally like xiaomi products they were not reliable. 1 year warranty is too short

    • Given the purchase price, I expect you have a compelling case under consumer law that your warranty extends well beyond 12 months.

That said, the time to deal with the seller may or not make that worth your while.

  • How do the settings work for different users? Do you need to bring your phone everything to swap the settings to a different user?

    • I don't think it has different user profiles. Just the user presses a button as they like.

  • Is there a way to remove the lid? Our cistern is fatter on the top so the lid won't stay open so i'd like to remove the lid.

    • What did you do? We need to remove it too.

  • +1

Hopefully this deal gets renewed :(

  • hi rep, any chance of another flashsale coming soon? Thanks!
