Must be the first non-targeted Uber Eats code that has ever worked for me!

  • Worked for me!

got it, wont use it, not a good enough discount for me to consider it again

    • You'll only buy discounted food?

      • +3

that crap yeah, for $30 a meal i will choose somewhere nice. not the local pizza shop.

        • +2

Lots of complaints about uber eats are justified but I'm not quite grasping yours - you must just live in a blackspot without much variety. I regularly get lunch delivered to work for ~$12

          • @Hinee: yeah there's not many options in my area. it's all just fast food chains or pizza shops that are overpriced. if you want asian food or food from a restaurant it's minimum spend $30-35. if i am going to spend that much on a meal i will choose somewhere really nice i am excited about and sit down and eat in. it's different when you are single i guess.

@sirlothie: I've found that the prices for same places are inflated on uber eats vs their website or take away menus.. So I've started having to check before ordering since some of the differences are significant… At which case I end up not bothering even with free delivery…

              • @scud70: yeah because ubereats and menulog take a huge cut out of the order, about 30% i think, that could be the entire profit margin of the order so most of the money from the order goes to the app not the restaurant or the driver so if you want to help people out you should go into the restaurant or order direct, it will give local business more money and cost you less. a lot of restaurants stopped using menulog and ubereats because they made nothing out of those orders.

              • @scud70: if you dont want to pay top dollar for things you have to cut out the middle man who makes all the profit.

  • Not targeted for me, but worked!

  • Worked for me! Didn't receive any email

  • worked - thanks

  • Finally got one

  • doesn't work for me again, something is wrong with my account, could be to do with i haven't spent a cent after my first $30 welcome credit…

    NOICE

  • :( no love here - i think ive been abusing ubereats too much lately, a worthy punishment.

  • Thanks OP, was able to add, I average 1-2 orders per month.

  • Finally one that worked for me

  • Wow finally it works for me lol, Thanks Op!

  • Reminder to everyone that uber promotion codes are case sensitive

    • Typed it in CAPS, worked fine.

  • It actually (profanity) worked for once.

None of the ubereats promos ever work on my account. So frustrating. Menulog it is.

Delivery is free but the prices are higher through Uber Eats than normal Restrau prices!!

    • Not every place does that though, I can grab a meatbox from the local for the same price without leaving my house.

  • Tried to use it 4 times and it eventually worked and they ended up sending me an email with the code.

Don't know if it was just delayed or if I somehow activated it for myself.

  • wow, this actually worked for me. these never work. thanks!

Buddy of mine who works at a restaurant, he said the restaurant he works for purposely gives less food to uber eats orders over the orders that they get directly.

Imo it's a really shitty thing to do, but uber eats also take a massive cut.

why doesnt he just increase the price then? he can set whatever price he wants. hes only hurting his own business. if i ordered a large size and got a medium sized order and i wasnt satisfied id never order directly or uber again.

      • Nah mate, I worked for food industry and there is a regulation that uber menu price on the ‘same’ menu should be under same price, hence as an owner of a business they have only two choices;

        A. Put less food in the same menu at uber
        B. Come up with new menu that has different recipe or a menu wirh different composition of food to their business

It is pretty silly. But uber does take about 30 percent of sales so… :P

        • McDonalds is more expensive on Uber Eats though.

  • Thank you

  • i got a push notification about this deal but when i went to enter it, it says the promo can't be applied :(

  • Works for me! Thanks OP.

  • Wow, worked for me! Cheers team.

  • I got the email but it's not deducting the delivery fee. Not willing to risk it

    • Kicked it up the arse and got it, took a few minutes to apply

  • These free delivery promos have literally never worked for me.

  • Nice! One that finally works for me

  • First time I got "targetted"

  • I got it and ordered some burritos :D

  • surprisingly worked, thanks OP!

  • targeted, no go for me
