Looks like they show the price as a monthly breakdown to make it look more appealing but that is just the monthly breakdown. If you look at the charge total it will be the annual price of whats listed.
There are also some other good deals out there for Usenet (Ninja and Newshosting) but I'm a fan of Tweak since it has a different backend which is also good for completion.

yeah this is the same price I paid last July, so not a bargain.
however, I will say that I switched usenet providers from usenetserver (where I was a member for 7 years) to tweaknews as I found after a trial that tweaknews had better retention due to less DCMA takedowns than a USA based usenet provider.
