*$69 [ACT, NSW]; $68 [QLD, SA]; $65 [TAS, VIC, WA]

Similar to the previous deal, except the price has gone up a little.

This is Asahi in can, brewed in Japan.
Much better than their bottles brewed in China which taste like toilet water, lol.

Apply Original Coupon Deal code to get 2000 flybuys points (worth $10), C&C only.
Use Shopback for an extra 10% cashback (ex GST). Not sure how long it will last, though. (Expired)
Use Cashrewards for an extra 9% cashback (ex GST). (Expired)
Stacks with standard cashback.

If my math is correct, brings it down to around $49 in VIC or $53 in Bottle Tax states.

  • Inb4 69 bucks + flybuys points! How good can it be? Has anyone tried it? You can get a carton of hammer n tongs bitter for $39.99 on special….

It's lager from a large commercial brewery, those beers are brewed with little flavour to make it easier to drink in order to maximise profits. Taste is never a discussion topic for these type of beers but we are in Australia where venues sell Crown Lager as a "premium" beer, so this could go either way.

The difference between real Asahi (brewed in Japan) vs. what is in most Australian bottle shops (brewed in China) is night and day. Excellent deal.for the real thing.

Agree. Asahi on tap in Japan is next level.

  • Good deal..bought 2 cases from Dan's @ 64.99 shud last me rest of summer :-)

  • What other brands are brewed in China?

      Insert inappropriate Corona joke here

  • I haven't had Asahi on tap in Japan, but I have had brewed in China Asahi and I have to agree with all of the criticism it is receiving. 1 bottle into a slab and I'm already disappointed, poor me! 23 to go, bottoms up:(
