  • What kind of vehicles are usually offered for these kinds of deals?

    • +2

I'd say you'd be best contacting them. I went through the booking process hoping it would show but no luck.
I'd hate to book it and get a Yaris haha

    • it us usually the cars that need to relocate - inter state cars. Anything between Kia Rio or similar to toyota kluger size. Usually you do not get choice to select.

  • I've done around 4 campervan relocations. Highly recommended, but avoid "Camperman Australia", terrible company.

How do you find the relocation deals if you don't mind me asking? I've been interested in these but never been able to find many.

Brisbane Airport to Sydney Airport includes 1,200kms. Google maps says the shortest route is 932kms with tolls, 943km without tolls. These guys should be paying you to drive.

So it is literally driving straight down, no detours.

    • Yes that what they all are, basically no siteseeing.

    • +1

You can add it to 2,000kms before checkout at no cost, still $1

      • Thanks. Didn't get that far in the check out process.

But, still, it's not "unlimited kilometres" as the post said.

    • I am sure, there wont be 100% ideal situation to utilise 1$ deal in best possible way. It is just to realocation of the cars for company and incase someone or family wants to take a road instead of flight during that time frame. its like win-win situation.

Fuel should be included like in NZ

    • hope they might include this in future, that would be more bargained deal :)

For the ones from Launceston Airport to Sydney Airport, Do we have to pay for the ferry or does Eurocar have a deal?

    • No, it does not include the ferry cost.

    • +1

I wondered the same thing. Seems a poor deal for $1.

      • It's have fact there is very limited time and km's and costs. If you took from Hobart to Sydney, you would have to drive direct and still pay $300 for the boat and fuel

  • Is fuel included?

  • Hey Mountains. Does Europcar ever wave the additional driver fee? There are three of us travelling together and I'm going with another company because when you add 2 extra drivers, it blows it out of the water.

I don't know why the cost is more - surely the liability is still with the primary renter.

    • Its around 6$ per person per day normally. Depending on the location, if you rent quiet often and request, they may waive off.
