  • 3D Over HDMI - Defines input/output protocols for major 3D video formats, paving the way for true 3D gaming and 3D home theatre applications.
  • 4K Video Support - Enables video resolutions far beyond 1080p, supporting next-generation displays that will rival the Digital Cinema systems used in many commercial movie theatres.
  • Additional Colour Spaces - adds support for three additional colour spaces enabling better and more accurate colour to users when they view their digital photos on an HDTV. In addition to RGB color and x.v.Colour, the HDMI standard now offers native support for three additional color spaces, sYCC601 colour, Adobe RGB colour and Adobe YCC601 colour

Great price, I've bought my last couple of HDMI cables from here and been extremely happy with the service and speed of delivery.

  • Sold. I was close to paying 4x this much for an inferior and shorter cable at Bunnings - thanks to the poster

    • Hang on…

Bunnings sells HDMI cables now? Wow…

  • +2

Eh…….I know what a HDMI is for, but then i start getting confused when it says it's together with Ethernet cable……is it integrated into the HDMI plug?

Most importantly, what is the use of that? So the smart TV can get online/internet access without additional Ethernet cable connect via router?

    • +4

Its just the new standard nothing uses it yet but eventually hdmi will carry sound video and data.

      • OIC…. Cheers for that.

      • thats a million $ answer ,tnx

  • Any chance on a deal on the longer cables 10,12.5 and 15m ? (HDMI 1.4)
    Cheers

      • Email sent

  • Thanks, ordered 2!

  • Hey Rep, any chance you have good quality but shorter lengths on special? I have a lot of devices pretty much right next to the TV and can use with less clutter. Cheers!

    • What would make it a good deal 20% off, 30% off and we will see what we can do for today.

    • Me too, only need 1m cable for some devices.

      • 1m Cables are now reduced to $5 also. (Limited Qty's)

        • just ordered

        • I was hoping for something shorter, but ordered the 1m ones anyway, thanks!

        • Bummer, i ordered 2 but i wanted a 1m one but not when it was 40% more than a 2m one. Can i get my order changed?

  • +1

Rep, may I suggest putting a better quality cable, 30AWG is only the bare minimum quality to satisfy HDMI Certification. I wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more for at least a 28AWG which one can easily find in ebay too. My suggestion is if one can spend a thousand or more for a TV you then I am sure can afford a few dollars more for a better performance TV/audio/data experience.Cheap isn't always better.

  • Rep, had problems signing up. It complained about incorrect code when I am sure it was correct. Cheers

Doesnt DX have cables for less than half this delivered?

    • -1

      Do they?

      • -1

I just assumed they are always the cheapest for this sort of thing….perhaps not?

        • -1

          Possibly! Maybe someone should check!

    • If you want to wait a month+ for your gear. $5 is pretty damn cheap your going to complain about $2 give or take?

      • -1

You think DX is cheaper too? Did you check?

        • For the record, DX isn't cheaper. I actually checked.

Guys, this company is good! I purchased off them last time. Very happy customer here.

    Fast delivery, great product.

    • agree good product and great service just what we like a big tick for this guy

  • v1.4a cables are required if sending 3D stuff from DVD player, etc

  • Whats the diff between the AWG ratings?

    • AWG is (American) Wire Gauge, refers to thickness of the actual wires. Thicker is certainly necessary for longer runs. I bought 2 of these last time. They were fine.

      Now I want a 5m one…

  • I had interference issues with a cheap 5$ HDMI 1.4a cable from oznetics. It used to drop my tv signals to almost zero for HD channels, when my xBox360 was on. My crest HDMI cable ( though every expensive than $5 one) did not had any issue at all.

So though cheap ones and expensive ones play same stuff, but it is the quality and good shielding you are compromising in a cheap cable. I would recommend cheap ones for additional less using stuffs. You at last get what you pay for.

I recon cable having insulation like this:

Ethernet over HDMI, I dont know, when I will be using that.

how is this one compare to the jamell one? is the shorter cable the better?

  • ordered 2.thank you.

  • Thanks for the post. I just ordered 2 :).

  • great! I find myself and relatives running out of these all the time as more and more new devices start integrating HDMI. ordered 4, thanks!

  • as mentioned in the past, i've bought from this company in the past and have been very happy with product. no comparison to cheap ebay crap…. big plus vote any time Jamell offers us deals.

  • I have four hdmi from jamell and they have all outlasted the cheapies from ebay/DX.

this stuff is quality and at this price a bargain.

  • just ordered one for my mplayer , tnx for the post
