You can see which stores have stock here.

Just remember that it's not always accurate.

    • How about other stores? Are you using SKU?

      • +2

Other stores without stock listed are filtered out. I used the SKU from the image

    • where is SA ?

      • There are none in SA.

      • SA all no stock… Must be hot down there

Below NT. In between WA and NSW

I did not know this site existed, thanks!

This will get used once and then never recharged again and spend the next 20 years in a garden shed.

    • +8

If you don't need a fan then don't buy it? I use mine all the time.

      • +16

sorry, but i'm sure I'm sure that is not how Ozbargins works. You buy it then work out if you need it! :)

        • Never imagined you'd have to explain this to Clear lol

          • +14

@Jackkkkkk: A true OzBargainer wouldn't waste their money. A pretend OzBargainer would.

      • +1

"Clear" Was going to say the same, myself and many others use fans all the time ( when warm/hot/humid ).

        • +1

I know right! Shocking how many people buy fans for storage. Is there going to be a fan shortage in 20 years?

    • Lithium or Ni-mh?

      • +2

Just had a look and it has 6 cell 18650 lithium battery pack.

        • That a pretty good buy. Should last years then. Maybe can mod so can swap out them batteries

    • Hmmm.. might not even be used once.. like all my eneloops

  • I need one of these to bring to the arcade, but I already bought a $139 Xiaomi 2S fan so I shouldn't T_T.

  • +1

    Not available in SA…

    • Does SA have electricity?

  • +13

Maybe I can sell my car and wear it on a backpack on roller skates like Wile.E. Coyote.

      What a Looney idea…

    • Careful what you chase :O

Can you charge it using the wind?

    • +1

      Ill bite, https://bit.ly/2GUaOLV
      Sure you can.

      Sarcasm fail.

    • You probably can with a little modding, but every company that's tried using a mini-fan array for energy generation has ceased the project during the research phase.

Not sure about the Euromatic brand. I purchased one of their desk fans last year and it broke within 2 months through light usage. Exchanged it for another one thinking it was just a faulty unit, but the second one died after 3 months (an improvement over the first one, sure). Don't have a lot of faith in this brand.

  • +2

Had this fan, battery died very quickly (and not replaceable via bunnings), wouldn't recommend for intermittent users.

  • Does it also run on power if plugged in?

    • Probably.
It does charge and run at the same.

    • +1

Yes, mine still ran after battery died.

A couple left at Stafford Qld. Almost all of their fans are on clearance and some aircon units by the looks. I saw a guy with a trolley full of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
40cm box fan $20 was a pretty good buy IMO. I find them good for window sills to pull in fresh air, with one at back door to push air out and make some wind tunnel suction action.
They had pedestal fans with remotes from $50, including a few DC fans.
Lots there if you need some fanny in your life.

  • I am a Fan of this deal.

    • +1

      It's simply FANtastic.

    • Why would you be a fan of this deal? It kinda blows.

    • You sound FANatical

      • Sounds like you could do with some fresh AIR

        • see you at the Party Richter

    suck the fan

  • Good discount. I don't know how this thing is put together but for the original price it seems it would make more sense if they made a cheaper 30 cm USB powered fan with a waterproof compartment for USB power banks they sold separately. So as not to lug a fan around in winter when you want to charge your phone (e.g. you won't have many fans on the bus).

Might be more useful for campervans that could regularly take advantage of the mobility.

    • Some rambling thoughts:
Wonder what size power bank would energize a 30cm fan at full speed for say 6 hrs.
Could a dual purpose power source, like Ozito garden tool / mower battery be up to the task.

      • My 10cm fan from JB Hi-fi does 500 mA @ 5V to use 2.5W. With a high power quick charge USB power bank (sold by Xiaomi etc) that does at least say 10W (no idea how much in reality), I'd say it would easily handle 6 hours.

  • Got the last one from Cockburn Central WA

  • +1

    can you use this indoors?

    • I use an industrial high velocity fan indoors. You will be fine with using this low powered fan indoors.

  • +2

Why the hell do I want an outdoor fan ? Isn’t wind enough for some people?

    • It's not always windy outside and you want to sit outside in your backyard and enjoy the summer?

    • You could… you know…. bring it inside?

  • picked one up from Bunnings in Blacktown, they had about 5 left.

  • 4 of these and a laundry basket =uber flying taxi

  • Bought one from Chatswood, 3 left

  • 14 left at Acacia Ridge.

  • Bought a different Euromatic fan once. Hardly moved any air for the amount of noise it made.

  • +1

THANKS OP! I bought one last night. It's actually awesome for $50! I was actually considering the Ryobi one+ but this is cooler

  • Yeah I got one about a week after OP put this up. It’s great so far, fairly quiet for an outdoor fan and super handy to pick up/place anywhere. Good value at $50, the lack of mains requirement was my main driver and am loving the flexibility.
Try to re post in a year if it still runs!

  • BIG Thanks OP.
These fans are great, plenty of power too, well worth the $50 so I went back to get a couple more for the workshop and office.

NO more left at my local Bunnings @ Hervey Bay now.
