Hi there,
I was just wondering what were people's opinions on the Seiko presage basic line. I'm planning on purchasing one but I am having difficulties picking one since I like most of them. Any feedback and links would be appreciated.
Thanks

It really depends on what you like.
Have a look at Starbuy as they generally stock reasonably priced Seikos.
Here’s a shot of my Mockingbird, which I picked up during a sale a few months ago, I’m partial to the green!
Is Starbuy prices in AUD?
AUD :)
They’re based in Sydney, so it’s all covered by your standard Australian warranty.
I’m not a fan of their open heart Presages, but you might be interested in checking them out.
If you have any special Presage requests you can alternatively email the owner, Deepak, and he can get them ordered in for you.
If you forced me to I'd be after one of the higher end sapphire pieces but there's an argument that dress watches dont need the resistance.
If you forced me to choose it would be this:

its also in white
i'm not a fan of the weird date wheel but its not terrible like the open hearts.
Power reserve is cute. I would also like the steel band as it gives you more options.
I have an Orient GMT that does all the Presages do as dresswatches so none of the Presages really hit me in the wallet.
I wear this watch every day (on a leather strap). I like it ……..

I liked the SARX047 too but in real life the face is a much brighter colour, the 045 felt classier to me.

The one for $799
