  • Also $249 at Amazon free shipping

  • My husband loves his ionic, but he is now onto his third watch as the first two failed (in less than 2 years). Luckily the replacement was pretty straight forward but you need to be with no watch for a few days. I hope it won’t break again as it’s approaching the end of 2 years

    • This thing is over two years old?

Random, but my Ionic broke and needs a donor to live.
If you (or anyone) still have an Ionic that is broken, I would like to buy it off you. Could you PM me?

I would much rather repair my Ionic than add to electrical waste!

  • Sadly went through two of these. Their support was great but in the end when the last one also died, it was time to move on. Mostly because they are now a Google company. No thanks

  • Had mine for 14 months and wear/use every day. Hasn't missed a beat. Cycling, Running, walking. I don't use the music stuff though. I did install one of the awesome custom faces which has every stat I need at a glance (great battery saver). Rarely go through the menu.

  • A year and half here, still going strong.
Mainly use to track sleep and when doing excercise. I wear my old school watches during the day when doing none of the above.
Reckon I got it on sale for $200 via ebay with 20% off code at good guys. Which happens every now and then.

  • I just received my 3rd replacemnet in 2 years and it was faulty from new (software glitch),fitbit told me to take it back to jb hifi with a reference number from fitbit to get a credit, but bugger me dead if they didnt fix the glitch the very next day.
I bought a versa2 so at least i get another full 2 years warranty.

Music feature is the biggest trash ever, do not buy if you expect to load songs onto internal storage and connect to Bluetooth headphones and leave your phone at home. There are countless posts online of other users with issues, primarily once your wrist is behind you back when walking or running the signal is so weak the headphones cut out.

Fitbit forums are useless as support there just copy-paste the same messages.

Fitbit tries to say it's because of 3rd party headphones, and not official FitBit flyers, but if you read the amazon reviews for the flyers there's a lot of angry customers with the issue that have an Ionic or Versa.

  • Kind of crazy that the Ionic retailed for $298 for a long time at JB Hi-Fi, then closer to $400 up until recently.
