I purchased a lenovo E470 at the beginning of 2017.
It was the i7, with 16Gb RAM, 256Gb SSD, and 2Gb video card.
I think this one, and many were purchased by OzBargainer's:

During 2019, the battery deteriorated from lasting 1 hour to needing it continuously plugged in.
Towards the end of 2019, it stopped turning on.
The green light on the power button would flash continuously, but it wouldn't boot…just a black screen.
I did some research and tried a few things (I can't remember I did), but to no avail.
I figured that it could be an odd thing where a completely dead battery would not let the laptop turn on.
Fast forward to today where a new battery arrived, which I plugged in, anxiously pressed the on button, and, as you have already guessed, nothing…
Any help diagnosing the problem would be greatly appreciated as my daughter needs it for school next week.
Thanks!
More than likely the motherboard from the flashing symptoms and no boot. I have a yoga 720 that does the same.
