    Ive just had a new aluminium gate installed. How much does it cost to automate it?

      Price will depend on few factors.

      Short answer: Doing it yourself $350-500 (add roughly $200) to have it installed by a professional.

      Price will mainly depend on the weight of the gate. Cheapest motors will do max 400kg. And brand will be a major factor on price. Mainly look for the warranty on offer, these range from 2-7 years.

          We don’t stock a huge range of gate motors but if you can confirm what type of gate it is, swing, slide, single, double and I can recommend a few types

      Unfortunately this one is still under patent. Depending on what B&D decide to do with one, compatibles wont be available for at least a few more years.

    These are the jokers that you can send a picture of your remote to and they will tell you which remote you need.

    Did that last time the offered a "deal" on this site. Received no return text message.

    As it turns out I have a Merlin+ 2.0 (rolling codes). Went elsewhere and got great service on a replacement.

    do you have a remote that compatible with both Merlin and Doorworks? i have one of each installed on my Garage Doors. cheers

      Unfortunately there is no remote that can do both. The only way to achieve this is to add a receiver onto one of the motor to match up with the other to allow one remote for both.     Definitely cheaper on eBay delivered. EG ATA PTX-4 Compatible Remote - Store: $15.00 eBay: $8.75. Merlin Compatible Remote - Store: $15. eBay: $9.45.

    Are the remotes you sell exactly the same as the ones pictured on eBay listing/Web site?

    Also what is the warranty/guarantee on these? As I purchased a generic one from an eBay. Same as the one you sell and it came with a flat battery and never worked properly or lasted very long before it stopped working.

      As stated in the deal there are products that are more affordable on our eBay store. Specifically the aftermarket best sellers which is a small number of products. The majority of our other aftermarket items and almost all of our genuine items are more affordable on our website with the deal. Although this deal may not be suitable for some, there are many products on our site that are at a great price.

    Purchased both front gate and garage door remote from these guys 2 years ago and still going well. In fact haven’t even need to change battery yet
