This makes an excellent entree before my Zinger Tower Burger and 24 piece feed.

    • +1

They really need to bring back the Zinger Tower burger.. permanently

      • Mmmm hash brown.

      • +2

They need to make it look like an actual tower first.

    • You should check out the triple zinger stacker in the secret menu

      • +4

I have 2 of those for second lunch on Thursdays.

  • what makes this deal favorable because Maccas has the 24 nuggets deal at $9.95 permanently whilst KFC doesn't.

    • +3

You already know the answer to this question. Some people prefer KFC nuggets.

        • +4

It's either a question and you forgot to use a question mark, or it's an ungrammatical sentence.

          • -7

            @bthaddad: read it again

          • -5

@bthaddad: it's plain and simple English

            • +1

@tempura: What the f does it mean then? Please break it down for me because I must be totally brain dead.

            • +4

@tempura: What they're getting at is that grammatically the sentence is poor and is missing the appropriate word to make it flow.

"what makes this deal favorable because Maccas has the 24 nuggets deal at $9.95 permanently whilst KFC doesn't."

But should be something more like:

what makes this deal favorable is because Maccas has the 24 nuggets deal at $9.95 permanently whilst KFC doesn't.

Without having something like the 'is' there then yes, it does read more like a question than a statement. It comes across as you asking why is the deal favourable when you can get 24 for 9.95 at McD's anytime. I'm piss poor at using certain things like commas appropriately at times but this is more a case of missing a vital word that changes the context from question to statement. It isn't "plan and simple English" unless english is your second language and therefore you're perhaps not aware of some of the many nuances involved that complete a sentence grammatically. It's a bitch of a language tbh.

I don't even know why i'm responding. I guess i'm bored here at work today, lol.

@Snorkel2226: i totally agree with everything you've said! except this part below:

It isn't "plan and simple English"

                it should be written "plain"

no, I take it back … i totally agree that it isn't "plan and simple English"

                • @tempura: lol, good catch. I guess at least you could understand what i meant :p

  • Does this mean the end of 30 nuggets?

    • That was only for QLD.

      • Yeah I know, but as I'm in QLD, I'm just curious if that means we won't get that anymore. It seems to be replaced nationwide with this deal.

        • That deal has been finished for a couple of weeks, and that's the only time it's been out. It may not be finished forever, no one knows.

  • The 4.95 fill up was still showing in my app this morning.

    • Go to "Colonel's Offers" and you will see this deal there.

  • -2

i tried a 'zinger fillet'for $3 which is just a biggger glorified nugget, way not worth the $3, it seems not same fillet in burgers at all

    • It's exactly the same.
Fresh breast meat, hand breaded and then pressure fried.

      • -2

but ripoff size is tiny compared to the ones come in burger

        • Possibly, they could be selecting the smaller sizes from the fridge for it.

      • +1

I'd never heard of pressure frying until you just posted it. Does that mean that in their kitchen, their fryers are actually covered?

I'd always assumed it was your typical deep fryer like you see at fish & chip shops etc! That'd be even less fun than the regular pressure cooker to let the 'steam' out of lol.

  • Omg finally a decent deal.

  • chicken nuggest

  • I think Red Rooster has the same deal.
    Which nuggets are superior?

  • I had some at lunch; skip the BBQ sauce.
