      What state? $10.90 for WA

      • +1

Confirmed $10.90 for VIC too. It initially said 11.90 until I set my store.

    • It'll be $11.90 for NSW/ACT.

    • 33¢ deposit in NSW/SA/VIC?

      • +2

It's 10c a bottle in NSW. And 70c to the government.

    Great price, thanks OP!

Also, in b4 the tired old ‘LoL vB is Kat PiSs’ commentary from people who can’t handle real beer 😎

    • +4

      Second that

    • +9

you missed the point. they are just telling the internet that they know what cats piss tastes like !

      • The more sophisticated ones are apparently experienced tasters of horse piss.

    • +2

Honestly despised VB for years (since I was under 18) calling it cats piss but gave it another shot over Australia Day a few years ago.

Now I actually enjoy it! Not bad at all.

    • +2

The craft beer folk don't know what they're missing out on.
Best $/litre beer out there by a long shot

Says the bloke who regularly posts Pizza Hut and Dominos offers?! Lol don’t pretend like you have refined tastes bud

      • -1

There's no rule saying you can't eat cheap food but enjoy expensive craft beer

  • Cheaper per litre to get the case still right? My maths is rusty.

    • a case of 12=64.99
a pack of 3=10.90 to 11.90 (depending on the state)
multiply the 3 pack by 4 to get the same amount as a case = 43.60 to 47.60

So no, a case is not cheaper at all.

      • +3

Meant a case of the smaller bottles.
But this still works out cheaper. Just!

  • Ted bullpit would be stoked

To be clear, they are paying us $10.90 to drink this?

    • +6

      Do you prefer virgin cocktails?

      • Bloody Marys…

    • -2

Out of curiosity, what do you suggest I drink?

  • +3

Sneak that in for yourself and ya 2 mates during smoko and be a bloody legend!

  • +3

    King Brown lol

  • Cheap dirt cheap

  • +3
  • +4

Bargain? Last time I bought a king brown, it was less than a dollar.
… but then a house in inner Sydney was $50 grand.

    Breakfast of champions

    0.4844 c/mL

equivalent to $54.49 for 30 cans

  • Why are there no mentions of the old emu export anymore? Used to buy that treasure for $30 a block. Can't beat $1 a can.

    • Brendan, enjoyed a coupe of Emu Export from a bottle shop in Perth recently. Was one of my favs when I lived in Perth in the 90’s

    • $47.95 per block now! 😢

    • I wish they sold Bush Chooks here in Vic, but no luck.

  • C'mon. We have been through this already just earlier this week. 100% of ozbargainers are Fosters Lager drinkers.

    Cheap and tastes like crap

    • What do you recommend?

      • Try local independent beer

  • +3

Just in time, I finished the fosters and the missus the passion pop. We now move onto a finer drop.

  • +2

throw downs need to come back

  • +1

Iron Jack, Fosters and now this. Don't think I can stomach much more

    • -5

Mind telling me what I should be drinking instead?

  • +1

Many moons ago at schoolies I worked out that VB stands for "visitor beer".

    uninvited visitors, obviously.

    • -2

      Cool…. what do you recommend?

      • +1

What do I personally drink? Mostly Cooper's green. When I'm doing low carb I drink pure blonde.

I don't like all the craft beers - I'll drink reschs on tap, but for some reason the bottles are not the same.

        What do you enjoy?

  • I'd rather drink my own warm urine.

    • +1

      A true OzBargainer.

Is there an elephant stamp for this, Scotty?

    • Weird that you would come into the comment section to deliberately post this.

  • +1

Sweet jesus that's a good deal!!

  • +3

If you’re not drinking this from a brown paper bag then do you even have a hard earned thirst?

    • +2

      Correction; It's a Gentleman's stubby hold

  • +2

It's 7am in the morning somewhere right ?

  • +1

Date night with the Mrs tonight have to pick up some king browns for the old girl and me BYO at the local Chinese.

  • +6

VB is a real man's beer. It's sales must be taking a beating considering so many Boomers are drinking less and dying and that young men are either too soft to drink or paying $27 for a four pack of hipster hops. Nothing like a day of manual labour then having a long neck of VB.

    • +1

Try drinking a hopped-to-hell 18% triple IPA (from Hope) and thinking it is soft.

  • +5

Today's millennials would rather have a nice tall glass of soy milk.

  • Almost as cheap as goon nice find will buy
