I have this - word of warning - the Aluminum alloy inner pot (exterior surface at the bottom) wears off quite rapidly with use in 6 months. It looks like paint peeling and bubbling where it makes contact with the heating element. The interior is fine - and I can't see anything coming off (so it remains safe for food handling).
I would recommend only using the stainless steel pot for most of the work - and the Aluminum one for steaming.
