"One of these new features is called gaming mode - simply tap the right bud three times and the delay in audio when playing games or watching videos will be reduced"

Um call me stupid by wouldn't I want this on by default and like all the time.

    • Checkout the review by scarbir. It already has really good audio sync and it improves it even more. You'll find most TWS earphones fail in that department.

      • does this mode drain battery?

      • Clear, can you confirm exactly what this mode does, does it switch the codec to AptX-LL?

        • I don't have an answer for that as it's not something QCY have disclosed. I've messaged someone I know in QCY to see if he has an answer.

Edit: No luck with that one other than it's low latency. QCY T5 has AAC/SBS but not aptX. I'll see if I can find out more!

          • @Clear: Thanks! To further my question, the missing information is useful to know what transmitter to buy for devices that need one (PC, switch, etc), in order to minimise latency.

Knowing which transmitter they used for the 65ms~ claim would also be a useful start.

    • Presumably it either impacts quality or battery life. If you are just listening to music, a fraction of a second delay is no big deal and you would choose the better quality/battery life.

      • It impacts quality from what I've read

  • Looking for earbuds with wireless charging case. Any deals on T2S? Or other recommendations?

I bought these to replace my QCY T1C's. I dropped the left one in the toilet, and while it still works after a good splash of antiseptic, it feels like a ticking timebomb!

    • +1

Shit sound from the left channel…

    • FWIW I really like the sound quality etc… of these T5's. They do not fit very well for me. For a bit of context I have a noticeably large head and am a big 180 cm man. The silicone part sits too "shallowly" in my ear. They fit my 8 and 10 year olds really well, but always want to fall out of my ears. I have tried all my various replacement earbuds and hope to find a solution with "replacement triple flange earbuds" from eBay…

  • Is it also good for phone call?

  • Can't seem to put address, when it has a number in front of street name it doesn't work but there's no other place to put the address number…

    • Still having the issue? I'll let Geek know.

      • Still having issues.

error i'm getting is: "To ensure your package delivery and prevent delays, please enter the valid alphabetic character." when I put the numbers into address line 1

        • It's a - you're trying to put in?

  • This looks pretty promising.. tempted.

Listed expiry date is 15 Feb but kinda thinking that this may not last that long. Am I right in assuming it's until 15 Feb or until stock is depleted?

    • +1

Yes that's right. Normally more stock can be allocated.

      • Thanks.

Do you know if there's shipping to Singapore and/or Malaysia by any chance, and if so, how long delivery will take?

I have a pair and can confirm they are good. Very stable, good sound quality.

    • how about call audio quality?

  • Has anyone tried to run/workout with these? Wondering how well they stay in when sweaty.

    • +1

I run with Ticpods (which look to be very similar). No problem with them staying… but a lot of it comes down to the shape of your ear.

  • Quite tempting, wouldnt mind some true wireless to go along with my QC35s

  • Bought one based on reviews, keen to try them out, thanks for the deal!

  • can anyone comment on how loud the volume can be?
I like listening to music loud and have the older Qcy19 I bought a few years back as they aren't loud enough for me.

  • It looks so similar to ticpod. I've owned one for over a year and I love it

Has stock just run out? I was about to buy it but now it only has "Stock notice"

  • so tempted, and I just received the Tronsmart Onyx Neo bought last week. Worth upgrading from Tronsmart?

  • If I have the QCY T2S are these worth upgrading to?

  • was looking for a one and thanks for the positive comments and review it looks a OK for the price to pay and end up buying one even though I got the following "To ensure your package delivery and prevent delays, please enter the valid alphabetic character." was able to proceed with the Order and got a confirmation email soon afterwards, hope there won't be a delay..

  • Purchased hope they are good!!

  • Purchased, thanks for deal. Hope that the call quality is much better than my QCY-T1C's which died this morning. I could never use those for calls as the background noise was crazy loud and did not pick up my voice. Also hoping volume is louder on my Galaxy S7 than those too.
    Cheers!

  • Anyone who has this please comment on call quality.

    • It is poor, Indoors in closed room is fine, outdoors it's a nightmare like previous QCY TWS earphones.

Hey what happened to the code? I got to the checkout and when I tried to apply the code I got " This coupon code has ultimately reached the limitation usage times." Please fix, thank you.

    • Same issue for me!

    • Same issue, but they're the same price on aliexpress any day of the week.

    • Please fix, thank you.

Fix? What if the error message was accurately describing the situation?

  • 'priority' shipping doesn't seems priority at all. Ordered on the 16th, auspost tracker is still 'Shipping information approved by Australia Post'

Change the carrier to UBI on 17track and you'll get more accurate shipping. Leading up to Chinese New year can result in delays.

      • understandable. thanks.

Bought these and arrived today, call quality is good to very good but have not tested yet with a lot of background noise. Sound quality is decent for the price and the overall quality is good. Volume goes loud. Touch control on the buds is a bit flaky and may take some getting used to. The gaming mode, whilst it is quite noticeably faster than non-gaming mode, is certainly not good enough for a shooter such as PUBG where audio is paramount. They are basically unusable for this due to the small lag. This is on an old device (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2) so perhaps that is a factor also. I would say only wired headphones would be good enough for shooters.

The big downside for me is no volume control on the buds which was actually mentioned in OP as being available. Having to go back to the phone to fix the volume control all the time is pointless in wireless headphones. For me would have been a deal breaker in what seems to be an otherwise very good value product.

Reporting back, background noise is a pretty big problem. I am loud on the other end but the mic is picking up a lot of other noise very clearly for the receiver.

  • Owners of these, I currently have the QCY t1C, which connects only the right bud via BT 4.2. Do these both connect separately via BT5, to avoid the lag between the buds? (and also so one can be used if the other is flat?)

I was looking at replacing my QCY as they have the 'quiet' bug, with something like Backbeat Fit 3200's, which reviews say don't have connection issues but which are 10x the price, but wouldn't mind giving these a go if they solve the T1C problems!
