The River Murray has been a bit dirty of late, hasn’t it?
Bought a pair about a month ago when they were ~$55 with free shipping. The material quality seems great for the price, but they are fairly uncomfortable, even for Rivers.
Unless you have a really strict budget, I recommend spending the extra $20-30 and getting a brand like Hush Puppies (when they're on sale).
Can this be worn to the office?
Tough one to answer that. I work in an IT office, hoodies (yes, they love living up to the stereotype) and skate shoes are worn by guys in their 40s.
These would go ok with chinos or smart jeans if that's the dress code. Not with slacks.

I wouldn't in a formal sense. You CAN pull it off with slacks I guess, provided they're the right length, w/ a more casual type shirt. I wouldn't though.
I wear the same style boots in the office, many others do aswell.
Wouldn't wear them to a formal event myself either.
