  • I passed on the electric Rockwell Shopseries one last year at $58 or so.
    Have wanted a polisher lately.

How to the battery ones compare?

    • Dont. You gonna make your car paint worse or damage it with these. Buy a variable speed one. And never buy cordless. Its not gonna last one panel.

    • I would buy one. You use this battery polisher for edgework only.

  • Looks like a toy…could be a good poilsher for the work shoes.

  • so is this a rotary or orbital?

i'm guessing it's a rotary for the price. wish the reviews were more insightful

Isn't this akin to a polisher attachment on a power drill?

    • +1

That's exactly what I was thinking

  • Looks perfect for exactly what one of the reviews suggests; headlights.

    • Unless running a business restoring headlights, you can probably get away with a $10 drill attachment kit from eBay.

      • Some restoration kits comes with drill attachment (e.g. Mothers).

Probably not a bad way of getting some batteries and a charger for the system.
I really want one of these: https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/toolpro-toolpro-ratchet-…

Batteries are $26 each, or $42 for one battery and a charger.

    • I have the milwaukee brushed ratchet that looks near identical mould to that tool pro and it is so handy. It has been in for repair under warranty a few times i still think its great. And at that price i say go for it. Might get another for home.

    • I've had the toolpro ratchet for few months and it's been great. Think I paid around $50-$60 for the ratchet, 2 batteties and a charger. Was going to get a milwaukee but for around home the price was hard to justify.
