Been using the ALDI ones at $2 a satchel. But end up hungry fairly quickly after lunch.
Any recommendation for bulk meal replacement powder with better value for money?

just looked into it. it's actually worse (for me( than Aldi's. it's got lower protein and higher carbs per serve
where can you get in-store?
That's about the same price per "meal" more if you include shipping. It has more protein though
If you buy 5kg it's $124 $1.55/serve and $1.49/serve for 10kgs. The more you buy the cheaper it gets.
Protein from bulk powders: $20 per kg and blend some oats $1 per kg.
For .60c per serve.
The ALDI shake you are having, you may as well have a tea spoon of sugar and a glass of milk.
it's actually not bad.. look at the nutritional profile of the aldi one.

do those protein levels include the protein in the milk?
You don't need b to add milk. Just water
So I think you need to tell us a bit more info if you want to get a better answer -
a) Is your goal to replace just 1 meal a day, or is this meant to be a complete meal with vitamins? (Like Soylent?)
b) Is your goal weightloss, or is it more for a meal on the go?
c) Would you rather feel full, or be low carb?
In my experience -
If you want to feel full, but aren't too fussed about carbs (so really, you're just after a liquid meal or a meal on the run) - I'd go with the sustagen hospital formula that @Pierrefranklin suggested as it has a better vitamin profile or blend some oats + a protein powder you like the taste of.
If you're really trying to lose weight, try a protein shake first (suggest Bulk Nutrients) + vitamin powder or pills + a banana after the shake to feel full. Oats also work for brekky imo.
The key thing is whether this is long term, or, is it replacing multiple meals a day. If yes, you need to add vitamins.
First goal is weight loss.
Second is saving money at lunch while at work.
I usually don't have breakfast, but do get hungry at 12ish. Usually a packed sandwich is enough to get my going until dinner at 6 or 7pm.
Where i have a more beefy meal.
The complete meal replacements seem to have less calories and include vitamins too.
I'm looking for something that tastes nice, can keep me full until dinner with as little kjs as possible and is healthy in the long term (for that one meal replaced)
- vitamin powder or pills
If yes, you need to add vitamins.
what vitamins?
Out of curiosity, why do people do this, save money, time? Anything else?
Just drink more water. I did it with my diet last year and you will be amazed at how it actually fills you up.
Already drink way too much water. In the liters.
how many litres a day?
Aussielent.
I was going to ask a similar question.
I am having trouble eating at the moment.
Staying as healthy as possible on liquid food is the main goal.
But weight loss would be good for me at this point too.
Sustagen hospital formula. Its my go to.
