Which of the 7-Day tours on that linked site is this deal related to?

    • This offer is for a special tailor made tour which is a round trip of the whole island in 7 days, or you can pick between

☻ Sri Lanka Scenic at Wild Life Tour (7 Days)
☻ Journeys of a Life time (7 Days)

for the SAME Price listed on our website.

Thank you for your comment 😊

        This is so confusing.

        • If I select 'Sri Lanka Scenic at Wild Life Tour (7 Days)', it shows details for 6 days / 5 nights.

        • If I select 'Journeys of a Life time (7 Days)', the details for Day 7 are: have breakfast and go to the airport.

For any of these tours, there are no prices displayed. How much are they?

For this post to be considered a bargain, we need to know how much these tours usually are.

      • Tim - any chance of a response?

Exercise a high degree of caution

Terrorism is a threat in Sri Lanka. Attacks could happen anywhere at any time. Terrorists may target tourist areas. Avoid crowds. Follow the advice of local officials.
There are marked and unmarked minefields and unexploded weapons in the Northern Province and parts of the Eastern Province.
Violent crime, including sexual assault, harassment and robbery, occurs.
Scams and fraud are common, including credit card fraud, overcharging and fake goods.
Flooding and landslides occur during the monsoon season.

Thanks JV. People do need to know the risk factor & current conditions. Which is why smart traveller site exists. Pointing it out gives you nagative votes.

Which mean, this is the best time to travel, less tourists and cheap.
In SL, when it's green, Exercise a high degree of caution, something could go wrong :)

As long as you're happy to take the risk.

    • Indonesia and Thailand have similar warnings. I wouldn't use smart traveler to determine whether or not to visit.

Lucky you didn't visit Sri Lanka last Easter then…

The warnings do not predict an event, they are meant to warn you of the risk…

Ofcouse its prudent to know teh risks and evaluate it based on your own assesment. I was in Sri Lanka 3 times last year staying around a month each time. While I was not there during Easter bombing (one of my trips was before and other 2 after) I think this warning from Smarttraveller is not a fair assesment. Yes there was terror attack in last April after almost 10 years since previous one and what I feel is the threat of a recurring of this very low risk. But then again no one can predict where a terrorist might attack ANYWHERE in the world.

In "my opinion" its much safer to go to Sri Lanka than to the US even though US was given an all clear ("Exercise normal safety precautions") by our Govt..

So there's a 10% chance of bombings each year… You might like those odds, but I don't.

Why not just tell everyone by replying to his message here?

        • +3

OP doesn't appear to want to reply to messages that may have to provide some information that is not just 'marketing'.

          • +2

@GG57: Tim just confirmed in a PM that the price without flights is $1000pp.

  • Is your logo direct rip off of Garuda Airlines?

  • Why would I want to visit 3 tea gardens? Surely one is enough?
