  Have one of this, it doesn't have the adjustable height lock so it tends to squash your sandwich, especially if you toasting turkish bread sandwich. This is normal price can get as low as $20, bought mine ages ago for $25.

    Agreed. The picture is deceiving. No way you can make sunny side eggs as there is no hinge lock. Regrettable purchase after owning a breville one

    My work has these and the best thing I find to stop the toasties getting squished is a mug, tall glass or a bowl under the handle.
