Ads on Cheap Chinese Mobile

I bought a brand new cheap Chinese mobile to use, but it's throwing ads up everywhere. I've uninstalled everything I can see that is unnecessary, but these stupid ads keep coming. I will turn on the phone to use it as a hotspot and by the time I've turned the hotspot on I've had to close 3 ads.

Can anyone point me in the direction of making it ad-free?

You might need to flash it with the real rom. Search on XDA developers might throw up some answers.

For the good of the community what is the make and model of phone you are talking about?

      • An AU $50.59 no name phone, what do you expect? It is not even a Ulefone or Elephone. If you only use it for hotspot, why bother?

The price includes global delivery, seller profit, ebay and paypal fee, let alone the manufacturer cost. I totally understand they want to make some money over advertisements.

      • Could have got similar cheaper from Coles/Woolies/Telstra etc on special.

  • I have a cheap chinese phone too (Lenovo) but no ads there. Your must be extra cheap.

  • Is it Xiaomi ?

    • Got Xiaomi A2 and A2 lite and none of them have ads.

  • I think your phone has been infected with ads.

Always use a USB condom when plugging into unknown ports when charging.

Maybe root the phone and remove installed apes and processes by doing a google search to identify what they are

    • I think your phone has been infected with ads aids. Always use a USB condom when plugging inserting into unknown ports when charging.

  • I have used many Chinese phones, all with no ads.My current one is a Umidigi A3 PRO, best one yet.
