Cashier was small talking a LOT to me so I was distracted. They just told me it'll scan at full price but it'll deduct later. When I checked the receipt after leaving, I saw - 50% off and left (before I had to pay a couple dollars for parking lol).
I called today and asked, though. They seem so chockablock, were totes unhelpful.
I asked if it was 50% off Store prices or rrp. She didn't answer and said ticker prices cant be relied on as items are moved everywhere. Not the case for items I bought. She then said, what ever t he prices scan at are correct. Lol, can't win!
Yeah, that was completely incorrect, it was 50 of the last did punt price. Agree that the staff were under the pump and the AC seemed broken, but it's no excuse for poor service like that. Maybe speak to Big W head office if it's adding up? They aren't that good either but it's an option
@Jackson: My ticket prices may have been wrong, old/eg from last week. Were the prices your things scanned at the same as the big w website?
Checked item numbers the day after purchase and the seemingly wrong scan prices were the same as on the site.
Is this the case for you?

Is there a lot of stock left in the clothing departments for these stores?
When I went to Auburn yesterday evening, there was quite a few stock for clothing, most for larger sizes though.

Bought some kids and baby clothing at Fairfield on Saturday. They are progressively taking the shelving down so only half the store is left now.
Bought some books and saw there was lots of stationery, bras, containers and food left. All big ticket items are gone.

Got Kingdom Hearts 3 on XB1 for $15 @ Big W Chullora. Gaming section was pretty dire yesterday and either I had the game already or could torrent a PC version. No A/C throughout place so keep that in mind when venturing either today or especially tomorrow.

You have to be aware at the checkout, or at least check the item on the receipt on the way out. I had stuff that was clearly marked with the price printed on the actual packaging at manufacture that was being charged at half some higher price. Had to pull her up on it a couple of times
