    I am wondering who would pay $49 for a cable, even at 4m long. I'm an Android user, so don't understand the whole Apple fanboi thing, but I've never paid more than $10 for a cable, including for some that are 3m.

      There's a difference between what you'd pay, and what RRP bricks & mortar stores charge

      Apple also requires a special chip in the cable (MFI), otherwise it doesn't charge/transmit data properly

      Try to find a 3m cable for a pixel 2 xl which do fast charge. Nearly impossible so don't say Android in general since I suffer more than a Apple fanboy haha

  I don’t recommend this, it broke literally within 2-3 months and I’ve swapped it twice. Compared to the Apple’s cord, it’s been a good year and I still haven’t broken it

    Kmart sells lightning cables pretty cheap and they’re all MFi certified.
