    Is that really a problem? Don't think I've ever used one for more than 5 minutes for a maintenance shave.

      It may if you haven't change the heads in a long time. As the blades get blunter it will take longer to shave.

      Its recommended to replace the shaving heads every 1 to 2 years to achieve optimal performance. The shaving heads for the 5000 and 7000 series cost $59.95.

      Problem if I want to go overseas for a while without my charger. Or need a quick 'top up' power (don’t want to wait 8houra for full charge)

        I see your point but for me I always pack my charger. Realistically anywhere you stay with have a power point where you shave. Imo the most important part of the shaver is a good shave and this shaver has decent reviews.

        Quick top up is fine. Few min on charge and I've been able to have a shave, it's just for the full charge seems to be longer.

  The one at Costco is NOT the same.
  This one is NiMH battery, the one at Costco is Li-ion, with 45 minutes shave time for only 1 hour charging.
