I bought an item from a lightning deal on amazon au recently. It arrived today. The seller has sent a message saying that it was sold at an incorrect price and can I return it please. I’ve never returned an item so have no idea how that works. It’s quite inconvenient to visit the post office.
It was about an 80% discount to normal price. Though it was a good lightning deal.
Do I have an ethical obligation to do anything here? Should it cost me time and money to remedy the seller’s mistake?
What do people think?
I'd keep it, personally I'd think it's an attempted scam
