Trying to see if I can get Huawei P30 under $50 or $55 per month plan under 12m or 24m contract.
10gb per month is max data limit I am happy with.
Any deals around?
Thanks in advance guys!

This is 2020 why people still go into contracts… It's expensive in the long term… Looks ok now but in 6 months when everywhere are cheaper you will be crying….. If you can't afford the phone outright now, then get 2nd hand… Or maybe get cheaper phone to match with your financial capability…. Having a decent cash saving is more important than carrying shiny phones….
You can still get decent deals on a contract. I got a P30 Pro last month for $15/month on 24 month contract with Optus. Works out to be $360 for the phone.
What plan did you get that on? Did it you get it through an optus store?
It was the $59 plan with 30GB data. This just before they brought in those new build your own plans. It was advertised on the Optus website as a special deal that expired November 24th.
@yippy: It was 59 plus 15 as I recall. I wasn't sure if it was 36 month though.
I have one eye on the P30 Pro as well but I am waiting, the decent sites report that the P40 Pro will be confirmed in Feb and released in March, so the P30 Pro will be significantly cheaper.
Also, with the pace at which Telstra and Optus are growing their 5G coverage, and the news that Vodafone is finally rolling out its own 5G network, I would think twice before locking into a flagship 4G phone and network for 24 months. Once the first 5G iPhone rolls out late next year, 5G will become a much bigger deal.
$50-$55 a month x 12 doesn’t cover the outright cost of the phone at the moment.

Outright phone and 2 BOOST $300 Prepaid SIM ($240 atm) will give more data for less spend over 24 months. If there’s something cheaper in 12 months even better. You could get something from CATCH Mobile if you wanted.
