You can connect them to PC using the cable provided with this controller, or using a wireless dongle.
If they are any "good" for playing on PC, I have no idea, I play on console only.
Maybe someone else, who has used them on PC, could help you with that.
"I don't know"
I quite enjoy using my Xbox 360 controller on the PC (mostly for Dark Souls and Rocket League) and I've found the Xbox One controller is even nicer. Probably gonna pick this one up so I can give my brother his back
Yes. Very.
I finally got around to hooking up my xbox1x controllers to the pc a couple of months ago and its been great, simple easy to do.
Yes. I use one and it's the best controller I've used.
Is this model compatible with the NvidiA Shield?
Is this the revised 1708 model?
Yes
Normal price
Why does this keep getting posted, it isn't a deal but the normal price…
I think it's becoming the new normal discounted price around here but the RRP is still $90 at the Microsoft Store (not that anyone pays retail…).
then its time for MS to revise the RRP
Maybe, but on the other hand, most big box stores still sell it closer to that price than the $55-$60 you see at specialist PC stores. I'm not advocating one or the other but for the average person who isn't an OzBargain regular or knowledgeable on specialist PC stores because they're a console gamer (and no, let's not do the whole PCMR vs console peasants thing), this is still a relative bargain.
Keep in mind, there is a new revision of the controller coming in 2020:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_One_controller (under "Models"):
An updated revision of the controller will be included with Xbox Series X upon its release in 2020. It has a refined build with a slightly smaller body, adds a "Share" button to its controls, and uses a flat concave D-pad similar to the Elite Controller. The Xbox Series X controller is backwards-compatible with existing Xbox One consoles, while the console will be backwards-compatible with existing Xbox One controllers as well.

Officeworks price match anybody?
So this comes with a charge pack?
No charge pack is supplied. Included items are Xbox one controller and micro USB cable. This allows you to use the controller wired on your pc without the need for batteries. It can also be used wirelessly. Just need to get your own batteries and official USB wireless or cheap bluetooth 4.0 adapter if your PC doesn't already hasn't one. Although you don't really need the official USB cable as any Miucro USB cable seems to work fine.
Ah right so still need own batteries for wireless? Can they be rechargeable? Would the cable charge them?
You can use rechargeable AA batteries but they need to be charged separately. Cable will only charge Xbox one official & 3rd party battery pack . Usually found in Play & Charge kit battery pack kit.
Do you think Jb HiFI could price match with this? Officeworks dont stock them
Confirmed Price matched at JB HIFI for $59 :)
Are xbox controllers good for gaming on pc?
