        Blaupunkt as part of Bosch ceased to exist in 2011, and was selling Chinese junk even under German ownership.

        They went broke again later, so probably owned by China now.
        I'm trying to think of an example of the Chinese buying just a name (as opposed to a working business), and using it on any quality products.
        Sharp? No, Foxconn is Taiwanese.

      It's really really bad….. I've owned and returned one before.

      • Ghastly GUI. The most ugly gui you've ever seen, slow and unintuitive.
      • Awfully uneven backlighting
      • Cheap and nasty generic remote
      • The screen can't be viewed from acute angles, screen goes dark like a TN monitor.
      • Very unnatural colour. Oversaturated.
