What do you mean by UI lag? The Samsung UI does take a split second to maneuver between icons and there isn't a mouse control. I reckon the Samsung RU series are the best TV in this price range. I paid much more for an older model at the time and was shocked when Samsung dropped the price the following year.

    The Q75R was one of the others I was looking at as well.

      It is leagues better than the RU7100, and is comparable with the X9500G. It has much brighter in SDR and HDR, better colours, is backlit with local dimming, better processor…

  Yes @plmko, we did this exactly today. Went for the Samsung, ended up with that Sony. So much better!!
