  Like some have been brand names like AIWA, they now license the name to a variety of electronics manufacturers. Apparently it is not bad for the price:

    I'm returning the Polaroid today and getting a 58" hisense.

    I highly suggest that anyone does not purchase this TV.

        Got one yesterday and for the money it's a ripper. Only downsides is picture and sound controls are android settings so you can't see changes "live". Speakers are also marginal but that's expected.

        Overall, android 9, Chromecast, built in prime (could t get that for some reason on other android tv box) make it bargain for me,
